NEW VEHICLE DETAIL
Unfortunately a new car rarely leaves the showroom with adequate protection as well as the perfect paintwork finish. In fact, a brand new car is not always as new as you would think; the vehicle is usually subjected to various contaminants in the air during transportation and long storage times. After which, once the vehicle has arrived at the dealership it usually receives a quick wash with a dirty sponge and chamois which will in turn inflict more damage to the paintwork. This is not the perfect start for your pride and joy.
For this reason alone the “New Car Detail” has been introduced. It will provide the perfect foundations and the car will look better than brand new as well as being well protected.
DETAILED OVERVIEW
INTERIOR
The interior of your vehicle will be thoroughly hoovered including seats, mats and all carpets. Dash cleaned and dressed, Door panels cleaned and dressed. Intricate difficult to reach areas will be cleaned with detailing brushes including air vents. Boot area will be hoovered (as long as access is possible ). Finally pedals also receive a clean
Wheels
– Wheels sprayed with ph neutral wheel cleaner, worked in with a soft bristle detailing brushes
– Fallout remover used to remove iron deposits and staining such as brake dust
– Wheels dried and protected with wheel sealant.
Paint
Cleaning
– Pre-wash citrus cleaner on lower parts of the car to remove road grime
– Door shuts sprayed with APC, cleaned with a soft bristle detailing brush
– Rinse
– Pre-wash snow foam used and left to dwell to break down dirt
– All emblems and badges cleaned around with a soft bristle detailing brush
– Rinse
– 2 bucket method safe wash, using a Gtechniq mitt, to help prevent swirling
– Rinse
– Fallout remover applied to remove iron deposits embedded in paint
– Rinse
– All paintwork and glass given the clay treatment to remove contaminants bonded to the paintwork leaving a silky smooth finish
– Final rinse
– Dried with a fluffy microfibre towel
Preparation
– Paintwork assessed for defects
– Single stage refinement machine polish over the whole vehicle to remove light imperfections and to improve clarity and gloss
– IPA wipe down to remove polish oils in preparation for protection
Protection
– Coating applied to the paintwork of the vehicle. This will be a 6 month coating applied. Ceramic upgrades can be added which incur extra costs.
Glass
– Windows cleaned inside and out
– Windows polished
– Rain repellent treatment applied to windows
Other
– Tyres cleaned and dressed
– Exhaust tips polished
– Interior will receive a thorough clean and hoover
